Nintendo presents the official trailer of Avicii Invector

It seems like Avicii left us a long time ago, yet his melodies keep shining up our days and his memory and legacy are more alive than ever. Artists, politicians, personalities of all kind and companies in different fields have come up to pay their respects and tributes to the talented Swedish producer since his passing. Now, it’s been the turn of the Japanese firm Nintendo.

After releasing his amazing post-mortem album ‘Tim‘ back in June, it hasn’t been few the publications that have brought the name of Avicii to cover their front pages. This time, the reason is surprisingly different. The multinational gaming company Nintendo has just released the official trailer of Avicii Invector, a brand new videogame produced in collaboration with Avicii.

The game, which was designed in collaboration with the DJ back on 2015, contains 25 of the best songs from the legendary artist including iconic tracks like ‘Lay Me Down‘, ‘Wake Me Up‘ or ‘Without You‘, which in own Nintendo’s words ‘each track is built to perfectly match the on-screen visuals taking you through a musical odyssey of serene exploration’. Leo Zulo, the managing director of Wired Productions, a specialist videogame publisher, has also had his say on the game:

“Avicii Invector celebrates Avicii’s life and music by immersing players inside the pulsing rhythms, evocative lyrics, and beautiful melodies he created. He was an amazing talent, and as an advocate for mental health, i hope and believe this project will bring Tim Bergling’s wonderful spirit to a world that can benefit from it.”

These last Zulo’s words are directed through the fact that a considerable amount of the profits generated through its sale will be donated to the Tim Bergling Foundation, which dedicates its full funds to help people struggling with mental health issues and disorders.
