To fans all around the world, Sebastian Ingrosso is known as a true legend of the dance music scene. Giving us iconic hits such as ‘Reload‘ and ‘Calling‘ alongside Tommy Trash and Alesso respectively, Ingrosso has also produced many of the biggest EDM anthems ever made as part of Swedish House Mafia, including ‘Greyhound’, ‘Save The World‘ and ‘Don’t You Worry Child‘. But for many online users, gratitude and respect towards such an important figurehead in the rise of dance music are two qualities in short supply, with a barrage of online trolls now targeting the SHM producer over his appearance.

Shortly after 1001Tracklists posted a video of the Swedish maestro dropping forthcoming SHM hit ‘It Gets Better’ during one of his solo shows, the comments section of the post were filled with hateful remarks over the physical nature of the legendary DJ. With #WorldMentalHealthDay taking place earlier this week, we here at We Rave You are both bitterly disappointed, and deeply saddened, by the behaviour of these cyber bullies, and whole-heartedly condemn their actions.

We would like to remind all readers that taking care of one another, looking out for each other, and showing maximum love, respect, and unity, at all times, are the foundations upon which dance music is built. Following the tragic suicide of Avicii last year, we also urge online users to think about their actions, and to remember that artists like Sebastian Ingrosso are human-beings like you or I, who have feelings, and can become hugely upset by such remarks. We hope that, together, we can eradicate this behaviour from social media users in future.
