Foo Fighters make a ‘surprise’ appearance at Glastonbury 2023: Watch

Foo Fighters recently took charge of the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury 2023 for a massive ‘surprise set’.

Foo Fighters surprised the crowd at Glastonbury with an energetic performance, confirming rumors that had been circulating about their appearance. The speculation began when the festival announced a mystery act called the ChurnUps would perform on the Pyramid stage before the Arctic Monkeys. Rumors about the surprise act being Foo Fighters were quick to arise, especially when The ChurnUps’ Twitter account was signed with the initials DG, adding to the anticipation as Dave Grohl is the frontman of the group.

This is what the members of the prestigious musical outfit had to say to the attendees at Glastonbury –

“You guys f***ing knew it was us this whole time, didn’t you? We’re happy to see you guys. It’s nice to see you guys after all this time. The last time we played here was in 2017. I remember you all having a good time” 

Amidst thunderous applause from the largest audience gathered at the Pyramid stage throughout the weekend, the Foo Fighters received an enthusiastic welcome. The emblem of the ChurnUps was replaced with the unmistakable logo of the Foo Fighters, signaling their arrival. Dave Grohl casually made his way onto the stage while the band’s new drummer, Josh Freese, performed a solo, setting the stage for their performance of the beloved fan favorite, “All My Life.
