Madeon shares last single of the Good Faith era ‘Gonna Be Good’: Listen
Fresh from his incredible Brooklyn Mirage show back on the 20th of May, Madeon dropped the last track ever of the Good Faith era and also announced a massive headline performance at Red Rocks in October.
Madeon has been exceptionally busy the last couple of months. Along with his breathtaking Good Faith Forever live shows which have been continuously sold out all over the world, he has been busy in the studio as well. Pushing himself even further, he finally released his newest single and, above all, the last track ever from the Good Faith era: Gonna Be Good. Alongside the track, Los Angeles-based producer also created an immersive music video in tandem with SWISH Projects. The music video successfully expands on the breathtaking visual direction and vision of his live performances.
The track itself is a bouncy, feel-good production which Madeon described as a “song about restless hope”. Madeon also added:
“It’s about saying the things we wish were true, like an incantation. It’s about caring for people we love and promising them things we couldn’t promise ourselves. I think it’s my favorite production and perhaps my favorite song I’ve ever released – I’ve already made so many special memories performing this song live over the past year, and I’m so happy you can take the song home now, I hope it’ll mean something to you too.”
As mentioned above, Gonna Be Good is the last ever single from the long-running Good Faith era which spans all the way back from 2019. It also “hints at what’s to come”, according to Madeon himself. Gonna Be Good follows Love You Back, an absolute fan-favorite and the only single released by Madeon in 2022. The release of Gonna Be Good marks the second installment on his independent label Mom+Pop Music and fans will for sure wait eagerly for future releases. Perhaps, even from other talented producers and artists as well.
Also, as a cherry on top, Madeon will bring his Good Faith show blending pop, dance, and otherworldly stage production to Red Rocks later this year, on October 29th precisely. You can buy your tickets to this sought-after performance here.
May and June have been especially crowded for the Grammy-nominated producer with appearances at New York’s Brooklyn Mirage and a small Japan live tour in Tokyo and Osaka. For more information on tour dates, you can stay tuned at madeon.net.
