Timmy Trumpet offloaded countless IDs as he took the Tomorrowland mainstage by storm during weekend one of the festival.

Australian DJ genius Timmy Trumpet had tonnes of energy in store for those gathered afoot the Tomorrowland mainstage on Sunday for his set. As expected, his combination of DJing an trumpeting ignited the atmosphere with the tempo ramping up a notch with the climax of weekend 1 of the festival on the horizon.

Timmy immediately gave fans a taste of what to expect throughout, opening with his collaboration with Carnage and KSHMR in ‘Toca’ to set an early precedent. Just the second track into the set, he soon had his trusty trumpet in hand, belting out his aptly titled track with Lady Bee called ‘Trumpets’. Not long after he dished out a remix of Sonny Fodera‘s ‘Moving Blind’ and a bootleg of Mau P’s ‘Drugs from Amsterdam’. As he picked up momentum, he championed some more of his own productions in ‘Punjabi’ and ‘Dance Tonight’, while also throwing in Peggy Gou’s hot hit ‘(It Goes Like) Na Na Na’ and Creeds’ ‘Push Up’ in the Suae & Technikore Flip into the mix.

With a dramatic start behind him, he was soon joined on stage by Da Tweekaz with whom he dropped a belting new ID, following up with Will Spark‘s edit of Charlotte de Witte and Enrico Sangiuliano‘s remix of The Age Of Love’. Dropping into drum and bass, he blared out a medley of Calvin Harris‘ summer number ‘Miracle’, with a handful of exclusive IDs in tow thereafter. One of these IDs brought both Tinie Tempah and Enisa out on stage as they also shared new music with the mainstage masses heading into the final stage of the set.

Bringing a long list of special guests to a close, duo Sub Zero Project joined Timmy on stage to play out their new single ‘The Race’ which is soon due out on Tomorrowland Music. Some of Timmy’s heavy hitters were still to come however, as he looked to provide a classic conclusion with a mesmerising mashup of ‘Interstellar’ with ‘Where You Are’ and ‘Reload’ preceding epic sing-along tracks such as ‘Freaks’ and ‘Sweet Caroline’ to finish. All in all a pretty relentless performance!

Be sure to check out all the madness from Tomorrowland on Youtube and their website, where you’ll likely be able to relive the craziness of his set.
