Kölsch at Creamfields North 2023: Crafting an unforgettable set: Watch
Danish DJ stalwart Kölsch had a dramatic set in store for those gathered inside the Steel Yard during Creamfields 2023.
Time after time, Kölsch delivers authentic DJ sets that keep us coming back for more, as he did once more this past bank holiday weekend at Creamfields North 2023. During a very rainy edition of the festival this year, the Danish export provided some respite with a meticulous selection of tracks inside the impressive Steel Yard structure.
Kicking off proceedings with his remix of James Blake’s ‘Limit To Your Love’ and back to back IDs, the UK contingent were quickly prepared for what was to come. New and unreleased music was very much in abundance, teasing the crowd with a couple of unreleased tracks of his own towards the middle of the set alongside his fan favourites such as ‘Gate’, ‘HAL’, ‘Cold Air’ and his remixes for Tiga‘s ‘My Dimension’ and Roger Shah‘s ‘Hide U’, among others.
As the atmosphere heightened, Kölsch pulled out the stops, arming himself with Skrillex‘s ‘Fine Day Anthem’, and an ID remix of The Verve‘s ‘Bittersweet Symphony’ before drawing upon his remix of London Grammar‘s ‘Hell To The Liar’ and his original ‘I Talk To Water’ as his penultimate tracks. To provide an emotional finish to the set he called upon the mesmeric talents of ARTBAT, with their remix of his 2013 release ‘All That Matters’ to draw a memorable set to a close.
