Cristoph is back with this newest EP, ‘FaCet Vol. 2.1,’ and it is arguably his best work of 2023 so far.

British DJ Cristoph has always been known as a producer who creates some of the most interesting, deep and moving tracks. His ‘FaCet’ series has been one of the more highly regarded projects of his career, and now he has given the world the next chapter in the story, ‘FaCet Vol. 2.1.’ A follow-up EP to ‘FaCet Vol. 1’ consisting of two new tracks titled ‘I Will Find You’ and ‘The Shift.’ But even with only a runtime of about 11 minutes, this EP packs a fair amount of power from the first note to the last.

It has been on record that the ‘FaCet’ series has allowed Cristoph to explore a different side of his artistry as he experiments with the far depths of house music. For those who are fans of a more melodic style of the genre, you will find yourself gravitating towards ‘I Will Find You,’ which presents a lighter tone. However, Cristoph pivots with ‘The Shift’ as he displays a more techno-based track, one that is dark and loaded with a deep bass. Regardless of which one you favor, there is no question that both tracks show off the exquisite synth work, vocal samples and energy consistently throughout that Cristoph has built his name on. It shows that many highly respect the work on ‘FaCet Vol. 2.1’ as it has just recently claimed the #1 spot on Beatport’s Progressive House release chart.

Make sure to catch Cristoph on his Fall 2023 tour, ‘Open to Close,’ starting this weekend in Chicago and going until November 18th, with the last stop being Los Angeles.
