Adriatique launch new label with incredible single ‘The Future Is Unknown’

‘The Future Is Unknown‘ is the first single to be released on X Recordings

The X marks the spot and now marks the home of the unmistakable sound of the duo Adriatique. The 1st of December was the date chosen for the big launch of their new label X Recordings with a phenomenal new single featuring Delhia de France. ‘The Future is Unknown’ is available on the usual streaming and download platforms via the newly launched X Recordings.

X has long been the hallmark of Adriatique, the duo made up of Swiss musicians Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer. In December 2022 they premiered a larger-than-life musical experience, as immersive as their music. The performances are a futuristic journey through a modern, spacey soundscape, filled with sounds that seem to come from another planet. Adriatique have long been a reference in the realm of melodic house and techno, but with the X brand, they’ve managed to elevate their music even further. This musical concept has already hit some of the hottest venues such as New York’s Brooklyn Mirage, London’s Labyrinth, Ibiza’s Pacha and Amsterdam’s Gashouder at ADE. Now this concept has also materialised into a new label, which will house the sound of X. Adriatique explains about this new brand:

“X is a multifaceted and versatile symbol, also seen as an intersection where paths cross. We feel X is an illustration of reflection and duality; both play major roles in our careers. As a platform, X welcomes influences and inspiration from all the people and artists involved. The new label debuts with ‘The Future Is Unknown’, a magnificent single featuring Delhia de France, who had previously collaborated with the duo on ‘Home‘ by Adriatique with Marino Canal. ‘The Future Is Unknown’ is a beautiful dark and deep piece. Featuring Delhia’s intense vocals, this track has a strong hypnotic character. The rhythm is punchy, assertive and progressive, offering various dimensions along with the twisting melodies.
