AN21 releases new EP ‘21:21’: Listen

AN21 has just released a new EP entitled ’21:21′, out now on SIZE Records.

Coming off the heels of his newest single ‘Skogen’ featuring Silhouette and Kuaigon, AN21 formally releases his first EP ’21:21′; a sonic journey through the illustrious career of the artist, also known as Steve Angello‘s younger brother. The six-track EP starts with a mesmerizing track entitled ‘Into Dust’ featuring Ali Bakgor and makes its way into the next track ‘Liquid Gold’ which presents itself in a dark and ominous atmosphere with pretty vocals sprinkled throughout. The other tracks include ‘Skogen’, an easy-listening track that carves out its own space within the EP, making way for the other track such as ‘Midnight Reverie’ and the two editions of ‘Love’s Not Over’.

Speaking on the release, AN21 states, “In ’21:21′, I’ve revisited the key moments that shaped my musical identity. This EP is a blend of my past inspirations with my current passions. It’s a journey through the music that made me and the experiences that have defined me”

This EP serves as a pivoting point in the producer’s career and within just six songs, we’re shown the versatility of just how creative and expansive AN21 can get. We hope to hear more formal releases from the artist soon!
