Axwell provides ‘Mi Amor Remode’ edit to track with Thomas Newson & Corey James: Listen
With the return of the Swedish House Mafia, Axwell has plenty to stay busy with alongside his musical brothers Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello, but that doesn’t stop him from devoting energy to his own solo projects and imprint, Axtone. Now the Swedish producer returns with a slick remode of the driving production by Thomas Newson and Corey James.
The new release of Sinister (Axwell Mi Amor Remode) has been highly anticipated amongst electronic music fans ever since Axwell debuted the track at his stunning Tomorrowland Winter set earlier this year. Finally available via Axtone Records, the single sees Liverpool producer Corey James return to the imprint alongside Thomas Newson, who is debuting on the label but is no stranger to the electronic music scene. Opening with an infectious lead melody, it draws listeners in as the artists build up the production, adding depth to the melody while bringing in the percussion to build the foundation. With its smooth house rhythms and energy, the track feels like it transcends the years of dance music, instantly timeless upon the first listen.
Since Axwell first debuted the track, fans have awaited its arrival on streaming platforms, hoping to get the chance to digest the track and experience it on and off the dance floor. Helping to create that timeless feel, Axwell looked back into the label’s own history of releases and utilized the 2021 single Mi Amor from Mosimann & Antoine Delvig, and lifted the operatic female vocal to sit on top of the Sinister production. The result is a beautiful release and another strong reminder of the brilliance and ability that Axwell brings to any project he takes part in. Be sure to check out Sinister (Axwell Mi Amor Remode) out now!
