David Guetta & Seth Hills take on remix duties for Tiësto’s smash hit ‘Both’: Listen

David Guetta loves himself a good remix. Even better when he teams up with some of his favorite producers out there, this time around it’s STMPD RCRDS alumni Seth Hills who got the honors to remix the most recent Tiësto hit Both alongside the French veteran.

Earlier this summer, Tiësto raised an eyebrow here and there when he announced a brand new single alongside BIA and 21 Savage titled Both which, in the end, continued the amazing form in the mainstream waters for the Dutch titan. Why were eyebrows raised, you might ask? 21 Savage isn’t known for his ventures into the electronic music world and the audience struggled to picture what the combination between him and Tiësto would sound like. The original could’ve ended up a total disaster and the remixes would still be able to save it. Not in the case of Both. The original does its job perfectly and the recently released remixes complement it greatly. Alongside the MK & Sonny Fodera remix, David Guetta & Seth Hills joined the action and made sure to up the ante with their festival version.

Now, this is a combination a lot of people didn’t think would ever happen. David Guetta & Seth Hills breathed that fresh festival air into Both and remade it into their smashing rendition, more than suitable for most stages out there. David Guetta released as many remixes as he did singles this year, and a couple of those came together with some of his favorite producers out there. For example, Hypaton helped with the creation of the remix for cassö, RAYE, and D-Block Europe’s Prada, Dyro took part in remixing LF SYSTEM’s Afraid To Feel last year, and now Seth Hills had the grand opportunity to remix Both alongside undisputed DJ MAG #1 of 2023. The remix has a simple melody reminiscent of Space Jungle by Eva Shaw, released in the already distant 2014. The 2 producers opted not to include vocals from both BIA and 21 Savage. Instead, they only used the refrain.

David Guetta’s last couple of months have been full of incredible news. Alongside being named the #1 DJ in the world according to DJ Mag for the 4th time since 2011 he also announced that he is expecting a child with his girlfriend Jess Ledon. His solo show at the Chateau de Chambord sold out 30.000 tickets in just 5 minutes which further proves that he is still the most sought-after DJ on the planet.
