Markus Schulz has joined with Ilan Bluestone and Daniel Wanrooy to deliver the latest edition of the ‘In Search of Sunrise’ series, In Search of Sunrise 19,’ and it is as fun of a listen as ever.

Do not be alarmed, even though ‘In Search of Sunrise 19’ is not getting its natural release of Summer or even Autumn, that does not make it any less compelling than the other compilations. In fact, the first ever ‘ISOS’ that has now been released in the Winter might arguably be the most interesting listen yet. With 54 new incredible mixes, Markus Schulz continues to carry the mantle of the ‘ISOS’ series and, this time gets the minds of Ilan Bluestone and Daniel Wanrooy to accompany him along the way.

As the series nears its 20th version, this precursor is an amazing feat as Schulz, Bluestone and Wanrooy did extensive research and crate digging to find the right tracks that fully incorporate the meaning of what it means to be on ‘In Search of Sunrise.’ As each section of the compilation resembles the identity of each producer, the first third from Schulz is for those who admire the “post-peak clubbing hours” with tracks such as ‘Light On,’ ‘Death of A Star’ featuring HALIENE and ‘Pura Vida.’ Listeners will also get first-listen to a few premieres from Schulz including, ‘Summer of ’99’,’ ‘Forgotten Element’ and ‘Reverence’ with Daxson.

In Search of Sunrise is nearly 25 years old

This second third of ‘In Search of Sunrise 19’ is for those who relate to the Anjunabeats style of music. Bluestone features some breathtaking tracks such as Sunny Lax’s ‘Cerasus,’ ‘Breathing’ from Boom Jinx, Nitrous Oxide & Einar K and Elysian trio’s ‘Light Years.’ You’ll even find Bluestone providing his own remixes, like his take on Above & Beyond‘s ‘Diving Out Of Love’ and BONNIE X CLYDE’s ‘Another You.’

In the final portion of ‘ISOS 19,’ Wanrooy, who has been making records since the ‘ISOS’ series began, takes you in a different direction, one that resembles the first rays of the sun in the morning. He first begins with his two collabs with JES in ‘We’ll Be Together’ and BLR with ‘Cielo.’ Then ultimately moves to his solo section of tracks, including ‘Terra Incognita’ and ‘How Will I Know.’ Warooy then wraps up the entire compilation with ‘So It Begins,’ ‘Solis’ and ‘ In Domo’ before featuring a couple of his remixes, such as ‘Far From Over’ and ‘Falling Back To You.’

‘In Search of Sunrise’ was launched by Tiësto in 1999 and later looked after by Richard Durand and now Markus Schulz.
Now in its third phase, it has seen many producers help curate its prestigious selection, such as Jerome Isma-Ae, Kryder, Gabriel & Dresden, Matt Fax, Kyau & Albert, Sunlounger, Andy Moor and Orkidea.
