Swedish House Mafia & Knife Party collab ‘Antidote’ turned 12 years old

It’s been 12 years since the groundbreaking collaboration between Swedish House Mafia and Knife Party resulted in the explosive track “Antidote.” Released on December 16, 2011, as the second single from Swedish House Mafia’s compilation album, “Until Now,” the song quickly became a dance music anthem, leaving an indelible mark on the electronic music scene.

“Antidote” was a fusion of creative forces, bringing together the iconic Swedish House Mafia trio—Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso—with the Australian electronic music duo Knife Party, consisting of Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen, who were also members of the renowned drum and bass band Pendulum.
