ARTY unveils warm new single ‘Favorite Sound’: Listen

ARTY, one of Russia’s biggest electronic music exports, has unveiled his brand new single Favorite Sound which will make you crave the summer even more than you probably already do.

Artem Stolyarov, also known as ARTY and Alpha 9 (his trance alias), continues to impress with yet another flawlessly crafted single Favorite Sound. Sang by the brilliant XIRA, it tries to evoke fond memories of last summer with its upbeat persona. Even the cover art is trying to bring back the sunny days when every one of us feels free and unchained. Released on Armada Music, Favorite Sound serves as yet another noteworthy addition to ARTY’s surreal discography.

Right from the get-go, ARTY’s signature plucks begin playing at a higher BPM than ARTY usually produces. XIRA’s angelic vocals glide through the full duration of the track and without her Favorite Sound simply wouldn’t be complete. As I’ve mentioned in the last paragraph, ARTY already wants us to start preparing our bodies and psyche for the upcoming summer, and in what better way than by concocting a track perfectly suitable for warm, bright days? If Favorite Sound was released in the summer it would undoubtedly be one of the standout tracks.

To have a discography as influential and mark-leaving truly takes something special. Favorite Sound is no exception whatsoever. ARTY and 140 BPM might just be a pretty decent combination.
