Philly’s emerging EDM Stars set for breakout back-to-back show

Philadelphia’s reputation as a hub for R&B and Jazz is well-established, but the city’s electronic dance music scene has been growing rapidly in recent years. On January 18th, two of Philly’s most promising young EDM artists – Alec “Silvertone” Silverstone and Ricky Iuliucci – will be joining forces for a breakthrough back-to-back performance at the prestigious local venue The Ave.

Silvertone first made waves in 2016 when his productions landed on EDM tastemaker labels like Baikonur Recordings and EDM Family. His infectious blend of pop-friendly melodies and driving dance beats has earned support from major artists like the Chainsmokers, Blanc, and Odd Mob. He has continued to build momentum with a string of club-ready originals and remixes.

Sharing the decks with Silvertone will be producer and DJ Ricky Iuliucci, who has already amassed over 2 million Spotify streams entirely through independent releases. His high-energy sets have earned him opening slots for chart-topping acts like Justin Bieber, Travis Scott, Martin Garrix, and Steve Aoki.

The Ave has played host to many seasoned EDM stars over its history, including Eric Prydz, Tchami, and Madeon. The fact that these two rising Philadelphia talents will now grace the same stage signals their status as artists to watch.
