The Justice duo tease a sneak peek of their upcoming album with a track from their New Year greeting

In a 30-second clip, the Justice duo tease a glimpse into their upcoming album. The LP is already confirmed to be released in 2024, and now comes the track unveiling.

The French electronic music/house duo Justice, formed by Gaspard Auge and Xavier de Rosnay, has reached a new milestone. In fact, the duo have posted an interesting video on their social media pages alongside the “Happy New Year” greeting. The 30-second video, featuring a VU meter, was accompanied by an as-yet-unnamed music track. It is very difficult not to conclude that this song is from the forthcoming album. After all, it has been validated in several places recently that the highly anticipated LP will arrive in 2024. As an example of this, last October, Busy P, the duo’s manager, confirmed the forthcoming album by comparing it to Justice’s 2007 album “Cross”. This will be their next studio album after “Woman”, released 8 years ago (Gaspard Auge has released a solo album as well in the meantime).

“There will be a new album and a new tour in 2024”, added Busy P during an interview with France Inter, a french public service radio station.

Pedro Winter, better known as DJ/producer Busy P, is not only the duo’s manager. They first worked together in 2007 on Justice’s debut LP, “Cross”, or stylized as “†”. “Cross” was released on Winter’s label, Ed Banger Records, which, if all is certain, will also be the home of the forthcoming album. The music in this short video promises to be a very energetic release. It sounds very comparable indeed to Cross, which was a defining Justice release at the time. Interestingly, Cross’ opening track “Genesis” was not simply an innovative electronic music release. The track also appeared in the highly successful John Wick: Chapter 4 playlist, among others. The duo have already announced their presence at over twenty festivals in 2024. It is including Mainsquare, We Love Green, Cabaret Vert and Primavera Sound where many other artists will perform, just like Peggy Gou.
