It’s been 27 years since the infectious beats of “Encore une fois“ first graced the airwaves, and yet, the song’s energy and allure remain as potent as ever. Released in January 1997 by German DJ group Sash!, the track featuring French vocals by Sabine Ohmes quickly became a global sensation, marking its place as one of Sash!’s most iconic hits.

Greece and Ireland, however, crowned it with chart-topping glory.

In the United States, “Encore une fois” carved its niche as a club anthem, securing the number one spot on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart, where it reigned for an impressive fourteen weeks.
