Tiësto named first In-game DJ for Super Bowl LVIII

The NFL has just announced a groundbreaking twist for Super Bowl LVIII. They named renowned Grammy Award-winning DJ and producer Tiësto as the first in-game superstar DJ for the upcoming Super Bowl, which is scheduled to take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on February 11, 2024.

TThe celebrated artist will kick off the festivities with a DJ set before the game, setting the stage for an unprecedented in-game experience. Unlike previous Super Bowls, Tiësto will break new ground by playing throughout the game, including featured breaks, not just during warm-ups.

This move reflects the NFL’s ongoing efforts to enhance in-stadium fan experience. With the Super Bowl debuting in Las Vegas, the league selected Tiësto to bring his signature style to this monumental event. Tim Tubito, the director of event presentation and content at the NFL, expressed enthusiasm about the decision. He stated, “Tiësto is the perfect artist to help us create an unforgettable gameday experience for everyone.”

Tiësto, a pioneer in electronic music, started in the underground scene and became a global influential DJ/producer. Boasting a Grammy Award and platinum certification, he played the main stage at every major international dance music festival, selling over 36 million albums and accumulating more than 11 billion streams worldwide.

The pregame DJ set has become a tradition since Super Bowl LIV in Miami, with artists like DJ Khaled, D-Nice, Zedd, and DJ Snake gracing the stage in previous years. However, Tiësto will be the first artist to play the full game, cementing his status as a trailblazer in this unique Super Bowl entertainment tradition.

Tiësto’s performance during Super Bowl LVIII will feature on the CBS broadcast and live-stream on the artist’s social channels, ensuring fans worldwide can join the party.
