With more and more listeners and producers accessing headphones and earbuds on the go, consumers require a quality product and long-lasting battery life. The team at Urbanista has focused on these areas and looked to the sun’s power to solve for its newest launch’s battery life.

Owning good headphones or earbuds is becoming more of the norm for individuals from all walks of life. While headphones were traditionally utilized primarily for listening to music, the advances in technology have seen them expand to help with many tasks in life. It is quite common to see individuals engaged in lengthy phone calls, streaming movies or TV shows, and listening to audiobooks while engaged in their day-to-day activities. The convenience of these activities is great, but the biggest concern for most users on the go is access to battery life. The team at Urbanista recognizes the importance of all-day battery life and has released two new designs that use the power of the sun to stay charged.

With CES taking over Las Vegas once again to start the New Year, attendees will have a chance to preview the new offerings from Urbanista in person. Fans of headphones will have the second-generation Los Angeles on display and will rely on the company’s Powerfoyle solar charging technology. Making the new iteration even more appealing, it will retail for just $179, a $20 savings from the original model. Urbanista has also given their Phoenix earbuds an upgrade and lowered the price from the original release of $149 down to just $129 for the second generation.

While the promise of infinite listening power strongly depends on the amount of access to sunlight, the company does boast that their products will maintain long charges as long as they access even low light. Of course, owners will also have the option to charge more traditionally, utilizing the provided USB-C plug if needed.
