Boris Brechja has teamed with German singer, songwriter, and TV star Leony for the new hit ‘Miracle’ off of his upcoming album ‘Level One’. The pair bring a fusion of enchanting melodies and “high-tech minimal’ sound to bring a new song that is sure to entice fans worldwide.

Boris Brechja, referred to as ‘The Joker’ (perhaps for the comical jester mask he wears during performances), continues to tease fans with tracks from his upcoming album. In anticipation of the April 2024 release of Brechja’s newest album ‘Level One‘, Brecha has released his newest collaboration alongside a dystopian music video to create an overall experience for fans. Following on the heels of tracks ‘Space X‘, ‘Vienna‘, and ‘Dimension‘ (all from Brechja’s newest album) comes a song-video pairing that is meant to be consumed by fans as an immersive experience.

The video presents fans with a dystopian world that sees people experience the world through VR headsets. Heavily inspired by Inception, the music video features many shots of Brecha and Leony in an abandoned electronics factory where they can be seen to physically manipulate the reality around them. Creating a connection between the outside world and of Virtual Reality, we begin to see the realities of the 2 worlds colliding until one cannot easily be completely distinguished from the other.

In speaking on the new track, Brecha had this to say about partnering with Leony,

The single ‘Miracle’ is one highlight from my upcoming album Level One. In ‘Miracle’, I’ve combined two elements that are crucial to me in music production: emotional melodies and driving basslines produced to evoke specific emotions in the listener. I am happy that we found Leony, a talented and modern singer, whose voice adds that special touch to the song.“

With the vision of Brecha on Miracle, it is readily apparent how the artist seeks to infuse multiple mediums to bring a musical experience to fans to goes further than simply presenting a song. Considering Brechja’s performances, it is not hard to believe how such a coalescence of mediums could be further heightened for fans during live shows.
