Gesaffelstein is set to release his first album in 5 years
Fans of Gesaffelstein are well aware that it has been some time since the French producer last released a new album. Thankfully the wait will be over soon as he has revealed that a new album is set to drop in March.
Having risen to prominence thanks to his work on Kanye West’s 2013 album, Yeezus, when he co-produced two tracks alongside fellow compatriots Daft Punk, Gesaffelstein released his debut album that year, quickly building his fanbase. Despite the French producer keeping a busy schedule in the studio, he does take his time between albums. His sophomore effort, Hyperion, was not released until 2019, following a six-year gap. In between the releases, he did work on projects alongside The Weeknd, Pharrell Williams, and Jean-Michel Jarre, allowing him to demonstrate his immense talent and versatility.
Now, with Gesaffelstein set to return to the stage at the Coachella Festival in April, he has revealed that he will be armed with plenty of new music for the performance. Ahead of his set, he has revealed that his third album, Gamma, will be released on March 29th, thus putting an end to the five years since his last album. Fans can get a preview of the new album below with the visual preview and review the tracklist as well.
