Afrojack might give up his Ultra Miami slot to either Hardwell or Chris Lake x Fisher on Sunday

Afrojack has offered his scheduled Kapuchon set slot on Sunday at Ultra Music Festival to allow either Hardwell or Chris Lake x Fisher to make up for their canceled performance on Day 1.

The shocking cancelation of Ultra Miami’s opening day put a damper on many hotly anticipated sets, including Hardwell’s long-awaited main stage set. The Dutch big room king revealed he had spent months preparing an over-the-top production, sharing an emotional reaction to having “3 months of work” washed out by severe storms.

Chris Lake and Fisher were also among the artists burned by Friday’s cancellation. The house music dynamos were set to bring their massive “Under Construction” live show concept to Ultra’s iconic main stage before dangerous weather made it impossible.

With Sunday’s revised schedule still TBA, speculation has arisen that Afrojack could sacrifice his Kapuchon slot to give either Hardwell or Chris Lake x Fisher a chance to make up their missed performance.

Afrojack responded to a fan in Instagram comments stating he is “100% down to give it up to @hardwell or @followthefishtv and @chrislake”

Only time will tell if Ultra Miami actually makes Afrojack’s grand gesture a reality. But the scenario would undoubtedly be an uplifting moment at an event plagued by disappointment so far in 2024.
