Trance Icon Armin van Buuren electrified the stage at this year’s Ultra Music Festival, showcasing his knack for unforgettable live performances. During his mainstage set on Sunday, the legendary DJ stunned the audience with an array of surprise musical guests, including Gryffin and ARTBAT.

However, the pinnacle of the weekend’s surprises came when Jon Bon Jovi made a grand entrance to unveil Armin van Buuren’s unreleased remix of the timeless rock anthem ‘Keep The Faith‘. This unexpected collaboration stemmed from the DJ’s bold idea to infuse his distinctive trance style into Bon Jovi’s classic track. The result? A dynamic fusion of their respective sounds, pulsating with adrenaline and breathing new life into the iconic anthem. Coinciding with Bon Jovi’s 40th anniversary and the revered ‘Keep The Faith‘ album, which achieved double-platinum status and soared to #5 on the US Billboard 200, this remix adds a thrilling dimension to the track’s celebrated legacy.

Expressions of Gratitude and Excitement

Armin van Buuren expressed his profound gratitude, stating, “It’s an incredible honor to remix this track and share the stage with Jon Bon Jovi, whom I’ve admired for years. This collaboration represents something entirely new in my discography, and what better platform to debut it than the Ultra mainstage.”

The surprises didn’t end there. Gryffin also made a spontaneous appearance to perform his latest release, ‘What Took You So Long‘, a collaborative effort with Armin van Buuren. This joint venture marks a convergence of two realms within the electronic dance music landscape, as both artists return to their dance music origins.

Additionally, Armin van Buuren delighted the crowd by inviting ARTBAT to the mainstage to present their recent track ‘Take Off‘. Furthermore, he joined forces with Oliver Heldens during the latter’s mainstage performance, teasing forthcoming collaborations following their debut Armin van Buuren vs. HI-LO B2B at ASOT Rotterdam last month. The anticipation builds as the duo hints at multiple projects in development.
