With a little under a month to go until the music world turns its attention to Indio, CA, and the annual Coachella Festival, the organizers are just now sharing information for a brand new stage design. Following the incredible line-up announcement for the Quasar Stage, fans can now get a peek at the design and concept.

For years now, Coachella has been one of the premier music festivals on the planet, bringing together a wide variety of sounds and styles while attracting fans from around the world. As the event gets ready for another year in the California desert, the organizers have revealed plans for a brand new, dance-focused stage that is set to feature some very exciting and exclusive sets over the event’s two weekends. Dubbed the Quasar Stage. Replacing the Sahara Stage, Jenn Yacoubian of Goldenvoice revealed ‘The thinking was we wanted people to see a longer format DJ set.’

The brand new Quasar Stage will feature music from Honey Dijon x Green Velvet, Eric Prydz x Anyma, Michael Bibi, and more, but the overall appearance will surely be as exciting as the music. Heather Shaw from Vita Motus Design Studio gave a glimpse at the incredible new structure which features two massive LED walls that will provide dimension while also appearing scenic when viewed. Sitting on opposites of the stage where the artists will perform, the production team will be able to trigger real-time designs throughout the marathon 3+ hours sets.

Take a sneak peak at the brand new Quasar Stage below as the music industry gets ready to experience it for the first time at Coachella 2024.
