Thomas Wesley Pentz who is internationally recognized by the stage name of Diplo is a multifaceted songwriter and record producer who has shown the sky is the limit when it comes down to his production style. With an international fan base like no other, Diplo graced the heart of Kabukicho in one of Tokyo’s largest venues known as ZERO TOKYO. With a headline show like no other, hundreds of fans made their way to the main stage and were in awe from start to finish. As Diplo worked his magic and ingited the dancefloor with both his classics and unreleased tunes, the headline event was definetely one for the books as we relive those memories here.

Internationally renowned by his stage name Diplo, Thomas Wesley Pentz is a versatile songwriter and record producer whose creativity is limitless. With a fan base spanning across the horizon, Diplo recently took center stage at the iconic ZERO TOKYO, one of Tokyo’s premier venues in Kabukicho. His headline performance drew hundreds of enthusiastic fans who were captivated from the moment he started playing those irresistible, yet groovy tunes until the very end. With a blend of his classic hits and unreleased tracks, Diplo worked his magic, igniting the dancefloor and creating an unforgettable experience for both tourists and locals. Looking back upon the event, Diplo’s show at ZERO TOKYO will be cherished as a standout moment in the music scene through Japan as he rinsed out those ecelectic tunes and brought that dance-floor ready energy to the masses.

Upon immediately entering the large scale venue, you could immediately tell their were hundreds of fans entering the venue just to catch experience this moment with Diplo and see what he does best. While the venue contains three levels which is divided into five areas, the energy of fans across stages was unmatched. Dancing their hearts out to techno and house music, it was almost time for the legend Diplo to grace the main stage. With the dancefloor packed and fans beginning to enter the main area as Diplo makes his appearance, the audio-visual experience was truly remarkable. As Diplo had the crowd singing along to tunes such as “Don’t Forget My Love,” with Miguel and switching the pace as he threw down the energetic single “Number 1” from Major Lazer and James Hype, attendees could not stop dancing as Diplo had full control of the crowd from front to back.

Immediately dropping house-inspired singles and even switching genres to a taste of trap music, if there is one artist to deliver an ecelectic set in the heart of Tokyo, it is definitely Diplo. With insane remixes and dropping throw back tunes with Sean Paul, and more, it is safe to say he had the crowd singing and dancing along the entire set. Luckily fans in Tokyo also had the chance to listen to unreleased gems as Diplo debuted his collaboration with Sharam and Pony for “Anthem.” As the artist showcases various sonic elements and futuristic inspired sound alongside seductive vocals, he brought fans into a state of hypnosis to take full control of their body. Intertwining all forms of genres into his production style, Diplo left the audience in awe for more. Taking the time to meet a few of his fans with signs and wearing merchandise, the experience was truly unforgettable.
