Home Featured Eric Prydz delivers an unforgettable performance at Ultra Miami 2024

It’s always a long wait for an edition of the unrivalled Ultra Music Festival Miami to arrive, only for those three days to fly by. This year, as always, expectations were sky-high, as this festival somehow sets the bar for the rest of the year’s events. The 2024 edition was marked by very challenging weather conditions that almost jeopardised the festival itself. But Bayfront Park is a magical place and, against all odds, there were days of great excitement, with surprises, twists and turns and many performances of stellar proportions, like Eric Prydz at the mighty Resistance Megastructure.

We know you’re already thinking about next year’s edition, but for now, we invite you to take a look back at some of the best sets from 2023. One of them is certainly the one starring the legendary Eric Prydz. The Swedish artist’s set was considered one of the best of the entire festival, thanks in no small part to his recognised ability to bewitch and amaze. The rain was heavy, but the music triumphed and the crowd experienced real moments of euphoria.

Prydz’s set at Ultra Miami was almost entirely made up of music from his aliases. One of the highlights was when he played that Pryda Holo Arc ID that his fans have wanted for so long. It’s one of the hottest tracks and also one to look forward to, along with other IDs from his HOLOSPHERE show including others that have been awaited since his residency at Hï Ibiza last summer. Megastructure is the home of techno at Ultra, so Eric Prydz brought a lot of tracks from his alias Cirez D. Did he use and abuse IDs? Yes, but that only adds to the excitement for the rest of the year. From Cirez D we heard ‘On Off’, ‘Mokba‘, and from Pryda some epics like ‘Power Drive’ and ‘Sol’.

Eric Prydz delivered a powerful performance. His ability to build a solid journey, full of various moments and emotions, is incredible, which makes his sets absolutely memorable. Some of the favourite tracks that call for keeping up with the rhythm are ‘We Are Mirage’ with Empire Of The Sun, a striking acapella of ‘Everyday My Life’ by Dajae and the pearl of pearls, ‘One More Time’ by the legendary Daft Punk. A set that will remain in the memories of many for an eternity. Relive every minute below:
