Shooting at a concert in Moscow leaves more than 100 dead

Home Featured Shooting at a concert in Moscow leaves more than 100 dead

The fatal incident took place on Friday night (22 March) in a concert hall in Moscow, with 11 arrested.

Being labelled as a ‘barbaric terrorist attack,’ a Friday night concert turned to chaos when four gunmen opened fire at the Crocus City Hall on a crowd of multiple thousands, leaving the death toll climbing up to 115 people (at the time of writing) and leaving more than 140 injured. According to reports, this is the deadliest attack that Russia has faced since 2014.

The terrorist organisation ISIS have supposedly taken responsibility for the attack, with all involved now being detained. According to reports by the BBC, the attackers were planning to cross over to Ukraine and had contacts there, in which the country responded that they had absolutely no involvement in the incident. The concert hall was also destroyed by fire, where more than 20 bodies were found under the rubble.

This is a developing story, and our thoughts are with the innocent victims of this attack.
