8 years after presenting Rush Over Me together with Said The Sky & HALIENE to the globe, Seven Lions & Illenium worked their Midas touch on Not Even Love, a track sure to creep its way into the hearts of many.

Delivering a fierce display of emotions, Seven Lions & Illenium fused only the best of their respective musical styles into one emotive production. Accompanied by an incredible vocal performance from Iceland native ÁSDÍS, Not Even Love succeeds in striking a dose of emotion few tracks can achieve. Premiered by both artists during Illenium’s monumental Trilogy show in Los Angeles, Not Even Love is a successor to Rush Over Me together with Said The Sky & HALIENE which serves as one of the biggest songs from both Illenium and Seven Lions.

Not Even Love is most definitely not a happy song. Speaking about struggles in relationships and a failure to find common ground in love, it serves as a testament to all of the hard-working couples trying to make it work, no matter how hard. As mentioned above, the song is a perfect combination of Seven Lions and Illenium’s genre-bending production styles. Along with a totally mesmerizing performance from ÁSDÍS, the track features 3 drops. 2 of them take the shape of progressive house or precisely “stutter progressive house” as fans like to call it. The 2nd drop delves into melodic dubstep, a genre that shaped the aforementioned artists’ careers.

Illenium recently announced a Red Rocks headline show set to take place on Tuesday, May 14th. As for Seven Lions, he and his Ophelia Records crew took over the UMF Radio stage on Friday, 22nd of March at Ultra Music Festival in Miami. Even though the rest of the lineup couldn’t play due to extreme weather problems, people certainly enjoyed acts such as Godlands and Gem & Tauri. Expect Not Even Love to do some serious damage in the upcoming shows. If you want to enjoy the track yourself it is available on every major streaming platform.
