Genesys II is now available in Dolby Atmos: Anyma partners with Dolby to celebrate the new album & Atmos.

Dolby, a leading company in the entertainment industry, has now reached a new milestone. To celebrate the new album Genesys II and of course, Dolby Atmos, they partnered with Anyma. The commercial features Matteo Milleri’s Eternity from his debut album, to spread the potential of the sound system.

Their partnership was revealed on 10 April 2024, with the big announcement posted mainly on Instagram. The move is not just a big step for Dolby (Dolby Laboratories, Inc.), the US audio noise reduction, audio encoding/compression, spatial audio, and HDR imaging company founded by Ray Dolby. It’s a joint journey with Anyma, Matteo Milleri of the Italian formation Tale of Us. “Dolby Atmos was mind-blowing the first time I tried it. The shift of perception, to hear the space, and to be immersed into this environment was inspiring. Every detail in my music adds to the story, so to have Dolby Atmos capture all of it and bring my vision to life exactly as I imagined is game-changing”, said Matteo Milleri about the system.

This big announcement was made after Anyma released his album Genesys II on 29 March. This album is a two-disc release, for which the full tracklist was published in early March. And thanks to the great partnership between Dolby and Anyma, fans can now enjoy Genesys II and Eternity in Dolby Atmos on Apple Music. And on LoveMoreinDolby, fans can also try out a video version of the Dolby-powered Eternity, a Chris Avantgarde collaboration. And on the same site, there is an interview with Matteo where he talks more about his experience with Atmos. Dolby Atmos is an advanced audio technology that creates a three-dimensional sound experience, enveloping listeners with immersive, realistic audio from every direction, including overhead. It enhances traditional surround sound by adding height channels, resulting in a more lifelike and engaging audio experience for movies, music, and gaming.
