Avicii documentary set to premiere at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival

Over 6 years after Tim Bergling, better known to the world as Avicii, tragically took his own life. Now a new documentary celebrating his incredible life and music is set to debut at one of the biggest film festivals around the world.

Since 2018, the memory and legacy of Avicii has been celebrated year after year, both through his music as well as landmarks, books, and a foundation looking to provide support for individuals struggling with mental health. With fans new and old continuing to listen to his music and celebrate his legacy, they will soon be treated to a new documentary reviewing his life and impact on the world. Simply titled Avicii – I’m Tim, the new documentary was produced by Swedish Björn Tjärnberg and directed by Henrik Burman.

The new documentary looks to peel back the layers of fame and exposure that left Avicii constantly under pressure from the music industry and take a look at the man behind the artist, Tim Bergling. Utilizing archival footage, the film will allow Tim Bergling to tell his story in his own words while giving fans an in-depth look at his passions and struggles.

Highly anticipated amongst music lovers around the world, Avicii – I’m Tim is set to debut at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival in New York City The Festival takes place from June 5th through the 16th, and a wider release is expected beyond that, but no details are available at this time.
