Carl Cox set to release massive ‘ASW is Live’ mix

For decades now, Carl Cox has been respected internationally as one of the world’s most prominent DJs and tastemakers in the electronic music space. He is showcasing his talents via a massive mix from one of today’s most unique electronic music platforms.

Curating an engaging and energetic set or mix requires a talent for cultivating sounds and crafting a layout to ensure the music flows properly to keep listeners’ attention. Carl Cox has attained international renown for his ability to dissect music and craft mixes that stand out from the millions of others who explore a path in DJing. For his latest project, he chose what may be one his most challenging projects, crafting a mix of 25 songs, from 25 artists derived from Awesome Soundwave. The team behind Awesome Soundwave eschews the standard electronic music tropes and instead focuses on a wide variety of sounds and styles from artists worldwide with a focus on live music performances and sets.

Leaning on his years of ability, Carl Cox took on this challenge, combining works from across Awesome Soundwave as he mixes tracks from the mysterious Klauss Tejger, the dark ambiance of Christopher Coe, and the lush creations of Hannes Bieger. For both Awesome Soundwave and the artists on the label, having Carl Cox celebrate the music with this exclusive mix is a huge moment as well as further confirmation of his love for supporting artists of all genres and styles.
