Charlotte de Witte brings hard techno to Coachella 2024: Watch

You will not find many who will put on a show quite as amazing as Charlotte de Witte, and that’s exactly what fans were treated to this past weekend at Coachella 2024. As one of the best pure musicians and DJs in music, it is a sight to behold when you watch her perform live. Witte is always cutting-edge, and you never know what new tricks you’ll get from her during a show, especially with such a monumental performance at Coachella. As one of the faces of techno, Witte had an opportunity to put the genre in the spotlight of the festival, and she achieved it.

Playing at the Mojave stage on Saturday, the Belgian producer delivered a 75-minute clinic of pure techno bliss. Turning the stage into a complete rave scene, she has the crowd in the palm of her hand from start to finish. Bringing an incredible production of countless lasers and led screens line up across the stage, de Witte opened with her intro version of ‘Overdrive,’ then took Coachella on a dark-techno journey as she played tracks such as her latest ‘Roar’ and other favorites like ‘High Street’ and her iconic remix of ‘The Age of Love.’ And she even sprinkled in some intriguing IDs within the show and towards the end.

de Witte’s show was, without a doubt, one of the best pure dance sets of the entire first weekend of Coachella 2024. She showed that there is a place for techno at multi-genre festivals and had the crowd screaming at the top of their lungs with every start of a new song. She effortlessly made Coachella feel like an underground club. Every time she steps on stage, she sets the bar even higher than before.
