Chris Avantgarde & Kevin de Vries drop a ‘Killa’ track on John Summit’s Experts Only: Listen

John Summit’s record label Experts Only, formerly known as Off The Grid, is once again home to an absolute heater of a track, this time around brought to us by 2 of the biggest techno exports as of late, Chris Avantgarde & Kevin de Vries.

When John Summit started off his set at the Vail Mountain in Colorado this February, everyone present was intrigued by his intro track. As things usually go with John’s sets, every single unreleased track he plays sparks immediate speculation on who is the artist or artists behind it. The mystery behind the artists was quickly resolved and surprisingly, Chris Avantgarde & Kevin de Vries are the duo behind Killa, their latest effort. Why surprisingly, you might ask? Killa is different from other productions the German duo has put out, with it being far more primed for clubs than their other tracks. Not that it means it’s a bad thing, obviously.

Throughout its runtime of roughly 5 and a half minutes, Killa radiates with vigorous energy, showcasing its pounding kicks and a catchy vocal sample. With its enigmatic mood and exquisite sound design, it is suitable for all sorts of dance floors. Being a total crowd-worker, Killa was without any shadow of a doubt one of the most sought-after IDs of this year’s Ultra Miami. Both Chris Avantgarde & Kevin de Vries were present during Miami Music Week and played out monumental sets, with Chris playing Ultra Miami in a b2b with Massano.

Described as a “monster tune” by Experts Only boss John Summit, Killa proves to be another fine addition to the aforementioned label. Featuring artists such as Mau P, Layton Giordani, and Odd Mob & OMNOM, in addition to John Summit’s incredibly successful hits, Experts Only maintains its steady rise to stardom without a hiccup.
