In our twenty-ninth installment, this includes top-tier talents Barkin, Alenn, and sundaysunday. Be sure to update your playlists with these ones as we enter festival season across the globe.

Barkin – ‘Come With Me’

Barkin continues his achievements in 2024 with his second release of the year. Teaming up with Honey-B-Sweet, “Come With Me” continues Barkin’s Techno-focused sound. Dropping on Liftoff Records. Honey-B-Sweet’s sultry vocals take center stage in the beginning before tension begins to rise. Before we know it, we are engulfed in a groovy bass-infused drop. Clever and gritty ear candy gives us all we need to keep dancing. Aggressive synths and sounds are expertly mixed into the records providing us with hints of Barkin’s original Bass House sound.

A deep-moving break switches things up before the pace begins to speed up again. An even bigger second build introduces a fake-out drop. A melody of breath vocals takes us into the second drop. It feels just as good but with more percs and grooves throughout. Barkin kicked off 2024 with a similar track in “Touch Me.” That too features sultry vocals and bass-filled drop.

Alenn – ‘Hear Me’

With Cracking Records, Alenn explores an area of house music that is rarely touched for ‘Hear Me’, offering a sound for the future bass and house music lovers. The Valencia based producer. Alenn shares,


“‘Hear Me’, was created with the intention of blending bass house with future house, while adding touches of vintage synthesizers for the breaks. I also wanted to make something a bit more melodic than usual, and this was the final result.”
Keep an ear out for Alenn, who over the span of a decade has garnered attention with premieres on esteemed labels such as Confession, Bite This, Revealed Records, Hybrid Trap, Future Bass, Brookly Fire, and Diverge Records, among several others. Notably, his music has received backing from industry heavyweights including Marshmello, Tchami, Jauz, Hardwell, Sikdope, Matroda, Shaun Frank, Tommie Sunshine and now Mazdem of Cracking Records.

Bleu Clair & POLOVICH – ‘In The Music’

Released on Terminal Underground, “In The Music,” the latest release from Bleu Clair, delves into the shadowy realms of tech house, merging anthemic elements with the artist’s signature sound that is instantly recognizable. The dark and mysterious feel of this single is the perfect fit for gritty afters where things get abstract, on the edge, and just wild and out there. It features subtle techno touches that adds a sharpened feel, setting above the fray of house singles constantly coming out. True to Bleu Clair’s style, the devil is in the details—each percussive nuance meticulously crafted to elevate the track beyond the ordinary. With “In The Music,” Bleu Clair proves yet again why his work resonates deeply within the underground music scene all the way up to the festival circuit, capturing the spirit of modern house culture through every song he makes.

sundaysunday – ‘Groove With Me’

sundaysunday rises as a promising force in house music at the reigns of Dopamine Machine Records, comprised of seasoned music producer Matthew Watson and the composed producer and guitarist Austin Baggio. With over a decade of experience in electronic music production, Matthew, widely-known under his moniker Watson, boasts an impressive portfolio with releases on esteemed labels such as Armada Music, Dim Mak, Universal Music, Virgin EMI, FrtyFve, and Strange Fruits. Collaborating with industry giants and recently tasked with creating tunes for Netflix’s ‘Bad Blood’, Matthew now embarks on a new journey alongside Austin.
Drawing inspiration from music legends like John Mayer and Stevie Ray Vaughan, Austin’s musical finesse seamlessly intertwines with Matthew’s electronic expertise, resulting in a distinct sound and captivating live house music performances that propel sundaysunday towards a promising future. To we present sundaysunday’s easy listening yet electrifying house music anthem ‘Groove with Me’ pulsating with bouncy bassline, dynamic vocals, vibrant synth stabs, and percussion that hits your primal bones.

San Pacho, Buitano & Fatboi – ‘Afloja’

Released on Terminal Underground, San Pacho has just released “Afloja,” a track set to dominate every party playlist with its fiery Latin-tech house fusion. Teaming up with Buitano and Mexican-American rapper Fatboi, this trio has created the ultimate crowd-pleaser. “Afloja” is an outright banger that turns any set into an electrifying showcase of Latin-house infused rhythm and energy.
