ISOxo and Knock2 deliver monumental set as ISOKNOCK at Coachella 2024

Home Featured ISOxo and Knock2 deliver monumental set as ISOKNOCK at Coachella 2024

In one of the most anticipated debuts in recent Coachella history, ISOxo and Knock2 played at the coveted Sahara Tent as they brought their collaborative project ISOKNOCK to Coachella 2024 for a historic moment in dance music.

Two of the fastest-rising stars in electronic music, ISOxo and Knock2 have made a name for themselves over the last 12 months. With hit singles, debut albums, headlining tours and playing on some of the most well-known festival stages in the world, the San Diego-based artists currently have one of the brightest spotlights shining on them in the industry. However, even with all their recent success, there was still a major festival that needed to be checked off the list. On Saturday night, they accomplished that goal together as they played at the Sahara Tent of Coachella 2024 for the first time, bringing their rare ISOKNOCK project to the desert and showed that the new era of dance music is here.

Known for their incredible energy during live shows, ISOxo and Knock2 individually are already “must-sees” at any festival, but Coachella 2024 brought it up one more notch as they announced the two would be playing together as their ISOKNOCK alias. A special occasion, considering these two have only played this b2b a handful of times up to this point. Given their performance history, it wasn’t hard to see that this would possibly be the most energetic set of the entire day at the Sahara Tent and arguably the entire festival. And that is exactly what happened.

The set was an unbelievable musical journey that showed why these two young stars are considered the next ones up. Bringing their highly beloved trap and house sounds to the Sahara Tent, the two dominated the stage and rocked the crowd. The stage setup was composed of a rustic structure with the words “ISOKOCK IS 4EVER” spray painted all over it and had a second story with a platform. ISOKNOCK started their show out in front, then moved inside the structure, where they mixed the next part of their set facing each other. They ultimately found themselves playing on top of the platform as they overlooked the entire crowd of the tent. The production throughout was absolutely flawless.

There were plenty of highlights from the show. ISOKNOCK delivered a plethora of IDs, including those they created with each other, one they made with RL Grime and then one between ISOxo and Skrillex. But even with all of that they still found a way to fit their most successful songs in the set as well, including Knock2’s ‘Dashstar’ and ISOxo’s ‘kidsgonemad.’ One of the most heartwarming moments came towards the end during the ISOxo and Skrillex ID when Knock2 and ISOxo came out from behind the decks to soak in what they had accomplished. Knock2 stood in awe as he waved to the crowd and then said “Hi, mom” to the camera that was broadcasting the live stream. On the other side, ISOxo was overcome with emotion too as he filmed the crowd with a handheld camera. Filled with pure excitement, he walked over to his best friend and the two embraced in a deep hug and then ISOxo began to jump up and down while scream as he realized they were in the middle of creating history. You could see the emotion on both their faces and how much it meant to them. An emotional moment for anybody who has been following the rise of these two over the last five years.

Saturday felt like a proud moment for the electronic community as they watched two artists whom many love grow into their superstardom. ISOxo and Knock2 have officially arrived and it won’t be a surprise if Coachella 2024 is seen as the point when the two began their global takeover. It was hard to put into words the scene at the Sahara Tent this past Saturday night, but it was the stuff of legends.
