MEIRLIN goes out of this world with heart racing new single, ‘Spaceflight 2099’: Listen

Rising star MEIRLIN is back with her next single on Revealed Recordings, ‘Spaceflight 2099,’ an exhilarating new addition to the Bigroom Techno world.

It’s not every day you get a sure bet rising star in the industry, but that is exactly what MEIRLIN is. Coming from Tokyo, the multi-talented producer is turning heads with each release, and her newest track, ‘Spaceflight 2099’ on Revealed Recordings, is her most exciting one yet. Inspired by the sounds of Future Rave and Bigroom Techno, MEIRLIN set out on a quest to create a unique sound that was riveting and new.

This track packs a punch and goes at a supersonic speed for its entire 2-minute and 56-second duration. The way that sounds are able to create a visualization that makes you feel as if you are deep in the farthest corners of space is phenomenal. MEIRLIN blends both genres so naturally, which is certainly easier said than done. The first 20 seconds of the track are such a thrill ride. The dialogue at the start and the intense risers make you feel like you are rushing to get on a spaceship that is set to take off at any moment. Then comes the Future Rave-inspired synths, and soon after, we have blast off. The drop feels like a rocket ship flying at 1000 miles per hour through space, and even listening to it, you’ll find your heart pounding from excitement. The track never loses steam, as once the drop is over, you are met with a mesmerizing arp of Future Rave synths before the build-up comes back in, and it’s time to do it all over again.

“I’ve always been fascinated by space travel and the wonders of the universe, so I wanted to create a song infused with ‘Space Travel,’ ‘Fantasy’ and ‘Future’ influences that would ignite the dance floor. Close your eyes and imagine yourself riding a spaceship, soaring through the galaxy. I hope you enjoy the journey!”

One of the crowning achievements of ‘Spaceflight 2099’ is that Hardwell premiered the track during his historic Ultra 2024 performance. MEIRLIN said that it was an incredibly special moment to see one of her favorite tracks she has ever made get played out to a crowd of that size by one of dance music’s legends. The crowd’s reaction to the track was unbelievable and was one of the most energetic moments of the entire set, further solidifying this as one of the best tracks so far in 2024. MEIRLIN’s stardom is shining as bright as anyone’s in this universe.
