Tiësto, the legendary DJ, continues his exploration into Latin music with an electrifying new rendition of Don Omar’s ‘Danza Kuduro’, out now via Confidential.
In Tiësto’s version, ‘Danza Kuduro’ undergoes a remarkable transformation, infused with pulsating percussion and an array of electro-house elements. Moreover, the original, featuring reggaeton artist Lucenzo and boasting over 11 billion streams, stands as one of Latin America’s most beloved hits, securing the #43 spot on Rolling Stone’s Greatest Latin Pop Songs list.
Known for his remixes of Latino chart-toppers, Tiësto’s latest venture follows his recent rework of Puerto Rican sensation Myke Towers’ 2023 hit ‘La Falda’. Additionally, his remix of Farruko’s ‘Pepas’ has amassed around 80 million streams on Spotify. Furthermore, his rendition of Bizarrap & Quevedo’s ‘Quedate’ sparked a fruitful collaboration with Bizarrap, leading to a remix of Bizarrap & Shakira’s joint effort featured on Shakira’s latest album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran.
