Tomorrowland unites with Brussels Airlines to present augmented reality airplane

Presenting ‘Amare‘, the newest Belgian Icon, Brussels Airlines and Tomorrowland showcase unity worldwide. This specially painted Airbus A320neo embodies the essence of togetherness, with its augmented reality-enhanced livery. Efforts towards sustainability are also intensified for Tomorrowland flights.

United since 2012, Brussels Airlines extends its partnership with Tomorrowland until 2028. The airline has been a steadfast collaborator with the festival, facilitating the journey of tens of thousands of festivalgoers to Belgium each summer since 2012. This partnership is grounded in shared values, including a fervor for global exploration, cultural connectivity, and environmental stewardship.

This summer, nearly 47,000 festivalgoers will embark on the Tomorrowland experience via the unique Global Journey travel packages, encompassing transportation, accommodation, and festival access. Around 14,500 festival attendees have booked a Global Journey package inclusive of flights, with approximately 165 flights from various corners of the globe scheduled over the festival’s two weekends.

Amare embodies Tomorrowland’s fundamental values of love, friendship, and unity. Emerging during ‘Adscendo’ both in literature and on stage, Amare plays a pivotal role in Tomorrowland’s future fiction narratives. In the Tomorrowland Universe, Amare possesses the unique ability to traverse diverse Tomorrowland worlds via Paperworld, the mystical parallel spectrum uniting these realms.

Visualized as a mythical bird traversing the ‘spectrum of space’, Amare’s design creates a dynamic illusion of motion, reinforcing its magical essence. The aircraft’s new design emanates a captivating aura of magic through energy lines and particles, accentuating Amare’s perpetual motion in its mission to unite people.
