Calvin Harris appears to tease new single with Miley Cyrus

While Calvin Harris has had an interesting year, engaging with fans online over the quality of his Ultra set, a performance that wasn't on the livestream but he uploaded later, he has continued to focus on delivering some of the most exciting tracks in the industry. With a back catalog of worldwide hits alongside some of the biggest names in music, he appears set to continue to explore that formula. In a new post to Instagram, he shares a video of a relatively empty beach, showing the waves gently crashing in as a female figure appears to be walking in the distance.

Ever since Calvin Harris dropped his chart-topping third single Miracle alongside Ellie Goulding, he seems poised to return to the festival-ready anthems that shot him to superstardom. Now he has shared a post on social media with another global superstar that appears set to release in the coming weeks.

The scenery is gorgeous in the post but it is the music attached to it that has the internet in a frenzy. Over a beautifully picked guitar arpeggio, it appears that Miley Cyrus has been tapped to deliver the topline to the track. The lush and simple production picks up as the track moves along, adding a driving kick drum and finally more percussion reminiscent of his classic house-style beats. There are no further details regarding the single available now but fans should expect some more answers soon.
