EDC Las Vegas phone thief is caught on camera

Every year, millions of music fans attend massive festivals all over the planet to experience the music they love from some of the biggest artists in the scene. Unfortunately, some bad actors do attend these events, but a group was able to catch one of them during EDC Las Vegas.

As thousands of fans gathered under the electric skies of Las Vegas for the annual Electric Daisy Carnival, the incredible stage designs and high-energy sets certainly were the highlight of the weekend. Of course, with any large gathering of people, there will be some negative behavior occurring amongst the crowds. One of the most common concerns for attendees of music festivals is items being stolen, specifically cell phones. While this issue continued in Las Vegas this year, one culprit was caught red-handed.

In a dramatic video shared to Reddit, several festival-goers apprehend a young woman who appears in deep distress before several cell phones are discovered on her person. The group surrounding her noted that she didn’t have a festival wristband and didn’t seem to fit in with the look and vibe of the crowd. In the video, the young woman is held by several attendees as the whole process is filmed. There is no other background as to what led them to suspect her, but they appear to quickly look for security to pass the woman off to the appropriate authorities.

Remember to always be mindful and careful of one’s surroundings when attending these massive festivals. Kudos to the crew who caught this thief.
