David Guetta has released an electrifying new remix of his hit single ‘I Don’t Wanna Wait’ with OneRepublic, reimagined by Ukrainian DJ and producer Miss Monique. This remix, out today on May 24, injects fresh energy into the already successful track, enhancing its dance-floor appeal.

Miss Monique Brings Her Unique Touch

Since its release last month, the original track has garnered over 133 million streams. Miss Monique’s remix amplifies the song’s bass-heavy elements, delivering a crowd-pleasing, party-ready version. With her extensive following on YouTube and Spotify, where she boasts over 200 million views and nearly 800,000 monthly listeners, Miss Monique brings her unique touch to this remix.

The remix follows recent reinterpretations by Dutch Big Room legend Hardwell and UK producer Olly James, each adding their own flair to this global hit. The collaboration between David Guetta and OneRepublic has proven to be another success for the French DJ, thanks to its catchy melodies and the unmistakable vocals of OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder. The track has topped various charts, including Shazam’s UK Dance Chart and the Music Week Pop Chart, and has made appearances on the Global Spotify Charts in 27 markets.

Accompanying the track’s success is its official music video, set against the vibrant backdrop of Miami and featuring footage from Guetta’s Ultra Miami premiere. The video has already amassed over 20 million views from combined uploads.

Chart-Topping Success and Global Reach

In addition to its streaming success, ‘I Don’t Wanna Wait’ has been featured on several major Spotify playlists, including The Bop List, Massive Dance Hits, and Summer Hits UK. The track has also broken into the top 20 of European airplay and reached a peak of #23 on global Shazam, with TikTok creations continuing to climb.

David Guetta continues to dominate the live music scene, recently announcing a new Monolith live date in France at the Orange Velodrome for June 21, 2025. This follows his successful AlUla live show on YouTube in March.

Building on his momentum from 2023, Guetta continues to release hit singles and collaborations. Last year, he released ‘Baby Don’t Hurt Me’ with Anne-Marie and Coi Leray, amassing over 700 million streams. His collaboration with Bebe Rexha, ‘I’m Good (Blue)’, earned him his eleventh Grammy nomination and garnered 2.7 billion global streams, topping charts in multiple markets.
