Mojave Grey & Moonshine come together for ‘Just Begun’: Listen

Not afraid to showcase their live rock roots, Mojave Grey has teamed up with Swedish duo Moonshine to deliver a powerful new release. While the track is titled Just Begun, neither duo are new to the music scene.

Opening with an enchantingly dark yet exciting guitar riff, Just Begun is bold and demands listeners’ attention from the start. Birthed in the beautiful California desert region known as Joshua Tree, the track began with a vision from the Swedish production duo and brothers, Moonshine. Comprised of Oliver and Victor Simic, their years of production work and studio output have helped them hone their craft and they found the perfect partners in musical crim as Mojave Grey unleashed their wide variety of talents for the single.

With ‘Just Begun’ we wanted to create a track that honors Mojave Grey’s distinct style while infusing our own electronic dance elements, resulting in a track that feels like a natural evolution of both our sounds. When we listen to ‘Just Begun’ it almost feels like a cinematic experience, taking the listener on a journey through its vivid soundscapes and dynamic shifts.Youc coudl say that we poured some Moonshine into the desert with this one.

Building upon their own deep house production style, Mojave Grey combine their deep experience across several genres to provide the tracks distinctive sound. The duo utilize the incredible vocals of Zander Bleck throughout the track while Micheal Pozzi shines with his intricate guitar playing and attention to details. Combining their talents, the four individual members spent over a year writing and polishing Just Begun, getting it to be the engrossing end product that is out now.

‘Just Begun has been an epic journey to create with our Nordic Brothers Moonshine. The song celebrates more the journey we are all on, not so much the destination. It’s a lesson to enjoy the ride. We are Super excited about this true collaboration. Icing on the cake was meeting all in person for th first time to finish the record in the desert with Moonshine coming to visit us in Joshua Tree.
