Alex Jordan drops incredible remix of Sexyy Red single: Listen

Producer Alex Jordan has been growing his stature in the electronic music scene with his genre-defying productions. Showcasing his true versatility, he has now dropped a remix of the Sexyy Red single ‘SKEEYEE‘.

Refusing to be bound by genres, Alex Jordan flipped Sexyy Red’s ‘SKEEYEE‘. The SKEEYEE (Alex Jordan Remix) opens with a bed of synths and Red’s vocal before a trap-styled hi-hat comes in to drive the track forward under the verse. The chorus/drop comes in and this is where Jordan’s production truly takes off. With a thick bass defining the holding it all together, the percussion races ahead as the synths shine through, adding a contrast that brings the track to life. The return of Sexyy Red’s vocals only lifts the track higher. Jordan utilizes her high-energy performance to ramp up his work on the track.

Jordan’s attention to detail makes the drum and bass remix a worthy listen. The first half of the track will feel familiar, with key changes to the percussion and some of the vocal effects, but the second drop truly shines. Completely flipping the energy, the track delves into a full drum and bass anthem around the two-and-a-half-minute mark.
