According to Megan Boni, aka Girl On Couch, it was just a simple joke. “I just thought it would be funny to make a video making fun of those single girls who are always complaining about being single, but yet they want an impossible laundry list of things in a boyfriend, and by the way, that’s myself included.”, she added. However, fortune smiled at her differently, as she quickly caught the attention of several DJs, such as Alesso and Loud Luxury, a Canadian music production and DJ duo. And now, with Capitol/Polydor/Virgin Germany, she’s helping DJs get her trendy vocals onto music platforms.
