Kygo and Plested reunite on new song ‘Me Before You’: Listen

Kygo and Plested unite again on ‘Me Before You’, a thrilling electro-pop single being its latest addition to an upcoming self-titled album, ‘Kygo’.

Kygo has teamed up with Plested to release ‘Me Before You‘ for an upcoming self-titled ‘Kygo‘ album. With the latest announcement of his self-titled album, this single becomes the fourth and final one before his thrilling 18-track release. Plested was a part of Kygo’s ‘The Way We Were‘ in 2022 making it his 2nd appearance on a Kygo album. The Norwegian DJ and producer currently accumulates over 36 million monthly listeners on Spotify and is certain to dominate the charts this summer.

From the start, ‘Me Before You’ comes in with an emotional high-tone vocal. Plested certainly becomes the key highlight of this track, beautifully accompanying Kygo’s light and melodic production style. It’s an energetic and uplifting piece that continues to build into a tropical, electro-pop drop. The emphasis on the lyrics, “Back to those demons that I knew, Back to the me before you“, and the drop contrasts happy and sad emotions. The synergy between this duo compliments itself beautifully, with bright production and energetic and uplifting vocals.
