R3HAB Takes On “Sun Is Shining”

R3HAB has become renowned for his festival-peak sound and huge drops over the past few years. From working with Calvin Harris and KSHMR to NERVO and VINAI, the Dutch DJ has certainly established himself as one of the most consistent electro-drop producers in the game.

“Sun Is Shining” has been on the scenes radars for months now, becoming one of the most anticipated songs for the 2015 summer. With it featuring in their set’s, including Coachella, it was only a matter of time before a big name gave their spin of the record. And with R3HAB’s reputation, it was only really going to go one direction.

The driving drop, containing intense chordal progressions and a pumping bassline, the Dutchman’s intro makes no apologies for removing the softer entrance of the original. The enchanting vocal sample only kicks in after 75 seconds, if anything to let the crowd recharge before another heavy round of the raging electronic drop. While Axwell Λ Ingrosso fans are unlikely to be its biggest fans, the tracks destined  festival-scene will probably beg otherwise, with the DJ/Producer igniting crowds all over the world yet again.
