Skrillex and Rick Ross preview “Purple Lamborghini”

As fans patiently await for the August release of DC Comics‘, Suicide Squad, snippets of its soundtrack have recently been circulating the web, including singles by Lil Wayne, Eminem, CCR, Skylar Grey, and among the 14-track album is none other than EDM’s own, Skrillex. Working alongside Mississippi native, Rick Ross, their track “Purple Lamborghini” exhibits both artists’ genre use and skill set. Previewed today on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show, Lowe interviewed Skrillex and Rozay as well; here, the two confirmed with Lowe that the Joker, played by Jared Leto himself, will make a cameo in the upcoming music video. During the interview, Rozay confirmed the release of his upcoming album as well.

Previewed earlier today, Skrillex and Rozay used their socials to release a 30-second clip of “Purple Lamborghini”. Accompanied by amazing cinematography and an aesthetic to match, from what we’ve seen the track is just as impressive. Engulfed in Skrillex’s iconic sound, Rozay teases listeners with his sharp, fluid vocals which mix perfectly with Skrillex’s copious production work.

The song itself comes in at over 4 minutes, and will be released alongside the film on August 5th. Watch the preview below and let us know what you think.
