After first teasing their collaboration in the Spring, six months later Jauz and San Holo have finally released their incredible collaboration, “OK!,” a Future Bass and Trap blend that is sure to be featured at festivals and clubs for months to come.
Both producers have seen meteoric rises over the past year with their unique sounds taking the electronic music scenes by storm. After Jauz released the iconic “Feel the Volume” and “Rock the Party” last year, his producing style has varied with releases like his bouncy remix of Passion Pit’s “Sleepyhead” and his bass-shaking track with Megalodon, “Shark Attack.” San Holo’s style has been making waves with his signature sound and been on a hot streak recently with two incredible releases in the past month, “Raw” and his edit of Clam Casino’s “I’m God.”
Their two sounds mold together into one that combines the best from both worlds. Setting the tone with a chilling beat that matches the haunting lyrics, the track gradually builds up to a heavy-hitting, Future House drop. Looping back around again for a second drop, the bass is more elaborate and distinct, switching rhythms. As videos have illustrated, when either of the two plays the record live, the track causes crowds to go nuts. “OK!” has the ability to stay around in the Bass music scene for a long time.
Jauz and San Holo’s “OK!” is available now on iTunes.
