Eric Estornel more commonly known for his stage name: Maceo Plex, has been the one of the newest names to be added onto the Ibiza calendar, hosting Mosaic by Maceo at PACHA Ibiza for the 2nd year in a row. After the successful 2016 edition of Mosaic by Maceo just less than a year ago, Maceo confirmed he will be returning to the white isle of Ibiza as a resident DJ this year.
The dates were also announced at the same time as the news, his return date for the opening party will be 30th May and will run every Tuesday night up until the closing party on 3rd October. Along with dates the full line up of guest DJs and live acts that will be joining Maceo throughout season at PACHA Ibiza (which is celebrating its 50th year in 2017) were revealed, highlights include: Adam Beyer, Ben Klock, Royksopp, Jon Hopkins, DJ Koze, Moodymann, Young Marco, Rødhåd, Carl Craig, Daniel Avery, Tale Of Us, Jennifer Cardini, Pearson Sound, Prins Thomas, Joy Orbison, Adam Beyer, Anthony Parasole, Talaboman, Silent Servant, nd_baumecker, Levon Vincent, Derek Plaslaiko, Mano Le Tough, Palms Trax, Paranoid London, Recondite, Roman Flügel, Dekmantel Soundsystem and Solar. A couple of back-to-back sets have been confirmed as well to spoil and excite the fans, with Aurora Halal joining Avalon Emerson behind the decks, and Steffi playing alongside Virginia. Live acts include Henrik Schwarz, Bicep and Stephan Bodzin.
Maceo Plex (sometimes preforming under the alias Maetrik for live sets) has made his name in the electronic music industry more specifically techno (minimal, classic techno, old school dark techno). Renowned for his constant innovation in both his individual music career also in the techno scene, he is a versatile and trendsetting performer able to step up to any challenge and impress both diehard techno fans and electronic music fans alike.
