Ultra Music Festival is regarded as one of the most successful dance music festivals of all time, having built their brand and expanded across the globe. Following the success of their core event in Miami in March, Ultra hosted two spectacular weekend events in Asia, one in Singapore and one in South Korea. As expected, the events were smash successes, delighting fans with some of the most in-demand acts in dance music taking to the stage to deliver stellar performances across the weekend.
However, the event did receive a backlash after Don Diablo released a video revealing the behaviour of some of those behind the festival. Following a flight delay, he arrived late into Singapore and received vicious texts stating that he was no longer welcome and would not be paid. He still performed a shortened set at the event, but posted the video on his social media later on, watch the full video here. Following the video, many fans have started to question the festival, with many people posting online about their support for Don Diablo and their disappointment following Ultra’s actions.
Ultra continue to dominate the dance music scene with their rapid expansion across the globe, delivering the same jaw-dropping standard of visual effects time after time. With a host of events set to take place in Asia later this year, Ultra have proven yet again to be an unstoppable force in the scene.
